Free Tune - Tonite Only "Where the Party's At" Incyte's Boogie Down Re-lick

Do you know where the party's at? Apparently Tonite Only does and we've got a newcomer to the blog on the Re-lick. Incyte is coming at us by way of Jacksonville Fl, the home of Kick It! Non-the-less, this is not why I've chosen his track for today's post. Tonite Only had a brief stint together and managed to put out a couple 12" homeruns together in that time. Overall the original "Where the Party's At" is a pretty straight forward house tune. It's got banging beats and housey bleeps with plenty of vocoder to go around but it's the bit of rock guitar on the main breakdown that really makes it stand out. Red Bull obviously liked it as this was the first tune that they commercially licensed. Incyte adds a good dose of funk to the mix and some shuffly breaks to relieve you of the standard four to the floor. The mixable intro is smooth and then drops right into the business end of things to get you moving. Some added edits spice things up and pick up the energy. The final break with the guitar is redone with a funky break on it and changes things up a bit. You should have no problems getting party going off when you drop this one! As an added bonus I've included the Dada Life Remix of "Where's the Party At" as well. Just call it an early birthday present ;)

Free Mix - Liam Critchley "Kick It Recordings.com Mix"

We've got a great mix up for grabs for you today as well. My man Liam out of Grimsby in the UK is a big supporter of this blog and Kick It Recordings! People like him make every post on the blog worth it and I'm happy to be able to support him in return. Liam has rounded up a great collection of Breaks tunes mostly gathered here from the Kick It Blog. He does a great job mixing together a bunch of styles and keeps a steady flow. An excellent listening mix for your Sunday evening!

Free Tune - Giggs & Mike Sinner " Slow Song" Marco Del Horno Dubstep Remix (Dustin Hulton Breaks Edit)

Ah another Sunday is here and it's time to kiss August goodbye and almost another summer as well. Soon enough the parties will all be coming back indoors and people will be freezing their tits off while having a smoke! Today we've got a great Sunday tuna lined up. Dustin Hulton has put together some banging edits in the past, a couple of which we've had on the blog. Today he's taking on Giggs & Mike Sinner's "Slow Song" the Marco Del Horno Dubstep Remix. I'm really liking the way this one came out as it's now nestled somewhere in-between Breaks and Dubstep never quite deciding where it wants to be. The drums have a Jungle feel to them that fits the tune and vocals well and the 808 style bassline keeps the old school feel. The vocals aren't over done or overpowering and compliment the groove perfectly with the chopped female vox layered in the back. If you've got any festie gigs left this one is gonna perfect. I also included a video with the original below, I'm not sure if it's the official but it's funny as hell so if you're in the mood for a laugh, have yourself a gander.

Free Tune - Bare "Fine Day Remix"

We don't do a whole lot of Dubstep here at the Kick It Blog but I do like to change things up and offer different things than a straight up Breakbeat from time to time. So, that's where we're at today, making a trip into the land of Dubstep and Bare is leading the journey into the land of bassline business. This one is taking samples and vocals from the widely known "It's a Fine Day" which was written by the English poet and musician Edward Barton. It was originally sung by, Jane Lancaster, Barton's girlfriend. They recorded and released it independently, and it was played by radio DJ John Peel. It was then heard by Iain McNay of Cherry Red Records, who obtained the rights to the record and released it more widely on his label in 1983. It reached #5 on the UK Indie Chart, and later appeared, credited to Jane and Barton, on their eponymous mini-album "Jane and Barton". It reached worldwide recognition when it was used by Opus III in 1992 as well as remixed by ATB. .In support of his follow up to "Groupie Love Life", Bare returns with a wicked wobbler courtesy of Play Me Records. One disgusting remix of a classic tune. The vocals are left fairly unchanged as it should be and are paired up with monster bass. When the synths drop in and the bassline drops out it takes on a completely different feel and you almost forget this is a Dubstep riddim. This one is certain to destroy dancefloors far and wide especially with the hunger some of these kids have got for a bit of half-time business. This one will be available for purchase Sept. 3rd so snatch it quick.

Free Tune - Nine Inch Nails "Only" Discosynthetique Remix

I've always been a fan of Nine Inch Nails, just the name alone is great! Trent Reznor is a musical mastermind and he was one of the early influences along with people like Rob Zombie, that got me interested in EDM. Album's like "Pretty Hate Machine which came out in 1989, helped nurture my love for all things electronic. So it pretty much goes without saying that I'm gonna be interested in Breaks reworks of NIN tunes. Dr. Discosynthetique operates on "Only" the second single from Trent's fourth album "With Teeth". "Only" reached number one on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, where it managed to stay for seven weeks. Floridian native Discosynthetique breathes new life into the classic and gives birth to a funky and driving remix. Four string pairs with acid lines and screeching guitars pushing things along until the well known Reznor keys drop in on the break with some great edits done to the vocals. If you're feeling flatline today you can get over the hump by checking out some more stuff by Discosynthetique on his Soundcloud page.

Free Tune - Yoloanada Be Cool and DCup "We No Speak Americano" High Rankin Vs Tomlinson Rework

We recently featured High Rankin's take on Yolanda Be Cool and DCup's "We No Speak Amreicano" that had a serious wobble on it. Today it's back again but this time with a Tomlinson rework. He does a real nice job too taking the slower High Rankin version and cranking things up. A simple kick/snare break keeps things fun and even though it's pretty mean in some ways, it should still work well for the big floors. I'll definitely be dropping this one!

Free Tune - Subsource "Street Soul Music" RuN RiOT Remix

RuN RiOT is really turning up the heat right now cranking out peak time tunes with all kinds of flavor. He's keeping his sound diverse and aimed at peak hour main room floors. Last week we talked about two banging tunes from Mr. RiOT and today he's back again with a free one for us. Today it's all about Subsource the Breakbeat Force from the UK. These guys take Electronica, Rock, Drum & Bass and more and mash it all together into something wicked and raw. Subsource is a Beat and Bass driven Rock act representing the underground UK dance music scene. It's no surprise that a band with a CV as connected as a nuclear power station is starting to turn a few heads. Studio sessions with The Prodigy and Akil from Jurassic 5, mosh-pit forming shows at 15 summer festivals in 2009 and sold out gigs in Berlin and Paris prompted support from the media as diverse as Metal Hammer, Eddy Temple Morris, BBC, LTD Magazine, Radio 1's Nihal and The Metro newspaper. Media almost as diverse as the band themselves: a Cambridge educated British-Chinese science prodigy, a Norwegian born multi instrumentalist, a Nu-Skool Breaks double bass player and a D&B drummer. Tracks like "The Ides" are just musically stunning and will get any crowd's hands in the air. "Street Soul Music" keeps with the format incorporating some island flavor and Reggae-esque vocals. RuN RiOT Reworks it with champion style and makes it blazing hot with a badass bassline, meaty beats and heavy guitars. Another awesome track from RuN RiOT and I can guarantee this one is going to be getting heavy rotation!

Free Tune - Krafty Kuts Vs Calvin Harris "80's Groove"

We're wrapping up another exciting week on the blog and what better way to do it then with a big fat free tuna!! I've always been a big fan of the Calvin Harris "In the 80's" tune, it's a personal favorite of mine and I'm always keen to slip it in a set when the time is right. The name Krafty Kuts is synonymous with Breakbeats and he steps up to drop a massive rework on the classic. Krafty starts things off with a funky break as to be expected and only gives just a taste of what's to come. Layered over another track on the mix in, only a keen ear is going to pick up the sample. Krafty then drops it like it's hot and brings things way down before then filtering in the signature riff and now you know where you are, right in back in the 80's!(I'm sure the attire of today's youth reminded you of that fact anyway) Krafty keeps things interesting by switching up the synths mid way through before bringing it all back around again to close it out. If you're down with the funk, get downloading this one and see you next week!

Farace Friday - Free Tune - Felguk "Galaxy Traveler" Neelix Remix (Farace Re-Rub)

My my things have been busy here at the Kick It blog and it feels like we're only picking up steam and I'm loving it. We're going to break 20,000 views by next week and I think we'll easily make my goal of 30,000 views by the end of the year. In the past eight months we have unleashed a plethora of material on our readers including tons of Exclusives, a free Drums & FX kit from Farace and now our first remix competition. I've already learned a lot from writing the blog and I hope you guys have all learned a few things from reading it. I put all of this information out here for you all to take in! That all being said, another week has flown by and it's time for another Farace Friday. I'm sure you guys look forward to Fridays for a couple of reasons including the end of the work week for many but it also often means it's time for an Exclusive Farace edit. Today just so happens to be another one of those Fridays and we've got Felguk's "Galaxy Traveler" the Neelix Remix with Farace on the Re-Rub up for grabs. Farace starts things off with a workable intro and swung out hats. The flat line beep of the original makes its presence known and killer snare rolls take us out to the quick break. Let the chopping begin because Farace really re-works the original beat adding in heaps of swing and steppy breaks. The energy builds way up and then changes up into a funky little beat about two minutes in before filtering out into the pads and drums leaving you in an old school breakbeat paired up with the Felguk vocals. The beat comes back in big and clean to close things out leaving you with a great section to work out of. More top stuff from the F-Man! Also make sure to get your ass out on the dance floor for one of Farace's upcoming appearances!! He always throws down and you will hear loads of exclusive material!

8/22 - Sundaze @ The Atlantic in Jacksonville Beach, FL - Farace is really looking forward to this South Beach style event. Right on the beach in Jacksonville Florida, this is a special Breakbeat version of Sundaze and Farace will be playing alongside Trevor Rockwell, Dave Berg and Jade. You can't beat the beach vibes!

8/28 - Wavewhore @ Eclipse in Jacksonville, FL - Here we go! Farace will be playing this awesome show with Wavewhore out of NYC. The US Breakbeat legend with numerous mixes on labels like Hardcore Beats, Broke, Electrofly, BreaksFM and BombTraxx

10/23 - Unity - Chicago, IL - This is going to be a massive party in Chitown! Unity: Black is an underground event that is sure to rip the roof off! Check out this site for more information! http://www.unityevent.net/home.htm

10/30 - Phuktoberfest Jax, FL - Phukheadz, do I need to say anymore? With members like Willie Nelson, Cheech Marin, Carl Cox and even Elmo, Farace is proud to be a part of this massive show! He is lucky enough to be #110 and the much sought after #420!!

Free Tune, Mixes & New Release - Atomic Hooligan

The final course for today is coming at you by way of Atomic Hooligan's fine culinary skills. With two acclaimed albums on Botchit & Scarper under their belts (at least one bona fide classic), Atomic Hooligan are well established as dance music standard setters. AH have graced the front covers of DJ and IDJ magazines and Terry’s energetic DJ sets truly prove that Bass is a winning formula! Smoke & Mirrors sees Maestro Matt and Sir Terrence of Hooligan turn in a hands in the air, big breakdowns and electro groover combo meal with epically euphoric proportions. More uplifting than a helium impregnated aero bar!
The hardest working man in showbiz- Barry Ashworth (Dub Pistols) and Billy Borez (Zero B) aka Dogtown Clash, wade right in with a rollicking ride through an expansive and energetic electro techno landscape that leaves you with no time to think, only dance.
Ben & Lex go for the jugular with this fiercely dirty, monstrously proportioned behemoth which just keeps adding layer upon layer of synth sickness and, depending on what state you’re in, will either make you dance your tits off or, if you’re a bit soft, you might consider going home for a cup of herbal tea and a spot of duvet time. You want more?!.. Dogtown Clash get sucked in again with an excursion into progressive electro breaks land that's more big time business. Also we've got all kinds of free goodness for you from free tunes to free mixes from the AH boys so make sure to check out all the goodies below!!

New Releases Out Now - RuN RiOT

RuN RiOT has been doing real big things as of late and I've been bumping quite a few of his tunes! He's got two out right now that I'm particularly fond of. First up is Cristoph Maitland "Electric Finger" RuN RiOT Remix. Signature chunky beats right on that 4/4 and Breaks edge with the Electro House kick snare combination and some Housey hats to boot. Acid leads twist all over the place on this one with massive sweeps building things way up until two minutes in when the kick ass rave synth drops in adding some serious fun and flavor to a techy tune. The main breakdown is huge and picks things WAY UP kicking back in with plenty of energy to get the crowd moving again. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Acid but this one really makes it work!
Next up is Great Scott's "DefCon" the RuN RiOT Remix. Things start off with some Middle Eastern sounding vocals on a twisting loop. They fool you as to what’s about to come. Thirty seconds later, wham bam thank you mam it's business time. Full on Breaks treatment for this one with rolling snares and hard kicks giving it tons of swing. Tear-out like synths bring the heat on this peak time Breakstep stormer and then two and a quarter in, the half time wobble action drops in with authority for one killer change-up. The horror movie style keys in the along with the continued looped vocals and the male vox whispering in the background give an awesome Rob Zombie feel to this one. Excellent stuff from RuN RiOT, both are in the top 10 must hear Breaks on Beatport this week. These one's are sure to get the job done!

Free Tune & New Album - Lifecycle "Luxury Condominium"

Well today is gonna be one heck of a busy day here on the blog. We've got lots to cover. First up we're starting with a free tune and just released full length album from Lifecycle. Their new album "Luxury Condominium" is referred to by Lifecycle as Deep Psychedelic Electro. Lots of atmospherics and natural D&B like drums. The full length album consists of twelve tracks and is designed to be listened to from beginning to end and takes you on electronic journey through the Jungle, Space, and many other places your mind might voyage as you let the music take control. This is a perfect mix for a Sunday afternoon just relaxing by the pool getting some sun or for a ride home after a great night. "Chatter" is a personal favorite of mine with its growling bassline and slightly tribal drums. "Stimulate" has got an awesome beat and the keys sound a bit like a xylophone giving a soothing island feel to it, a real feel good tune. "Casio Hell" is excellent as well with its old school 8bit feel and pained vocals. You can purchase the full length album as well as the physical version on Lifecycle's website listed below. The CD package includes a Technicolor booklet featuring photography and digital artwork by Leon Johnson, Nikolas Ardeley, Timothy Sim, Lorenzo Nanagas, Mikey Orsolino, Marc Hibbert, Kay Dent and Michael Braun. Also, the first fifty physical copies sold will ship with a bonus CDR, containing DJ-friendly alternative mixes of "Icebreaker", "Chatter", "Casio Hell" and two unreleased versions of "The Magic Word" and "Circular Motion". Also, we have up for free today from Lifecycle "The Magic Word" original mix. Life-like beats and hand drums mingle with pads and synths for a trippy and enjoyable experience.

New Release - KIR239 - Dimension Flux "Sex Noise" w/ Remixes by DJ Phunkae, Direct Input & TJFX

Just out yesterday on Kick It Recordings we have "Sex Noise" from new comers to Kick It, Dimension Flux who bring us their newest single and what a tune it is! Driving Electro beats and tough female vocals come together for this great crossover track. This one would work well in a Breaks, House or even an Indy Dance Dj set! The bassline is thick and catchy and the synths add to the upbeat vibe. This one should get the people moving and if you're not the biggest fan of vocals, there is a dub mix as well.
On the table we have a plate full of remixes up for offer coming from Dj Phunkae, Direct Input and TJFX of Sneaker & The Dryer! All remixes keep the feel of the original track while each artist puts their own spin on things and none disappoint in the slightest!
First up is the DJ Phunkae (Chunk N Attack) mix who is bringing you the funk as you'd expect. Housey breaks and hats comingle with the heavy phunked up bass and some vocoded vox that adds to that 70's funky feeling. Phunkae keeps things fun and upbeat.
Next up is Kick It resident Direct Input who turns up the heat on this one. The bass is a bit edgier and Trancey synths and pads bring up the energy while kickass edits and changeups combined with monster builds make for a peaktime stormer. Primetime stuff from Direct Input. Last but not least we have TJFX of Sneaker & The Dryer, also with his first release on Kick It. TJFX turns out a stormer sticking with the Electro House edge and combing punchy kicks and crisp snares along with heavy edits and rolls, he gives it some Breakbeat flavor making this one another perfect crossover. It's already been receiving heavy support with airplay from multiple well known djs as well as a "Staff Pick" on BeatsDigital.com If you like your stuff on the glitchier side, this is the one of the bunch for you. Check em all out below and pick them up at your favorite digital download site!

Bass Reflections - "BIG SOUNDS! Loving all the mixes on this one. This release is solid all the way around and I will definitely be supporting it! A bit of everything for everyone in this one."
Retroid - "The Direct Input mix is doing it for me, I'll be playing this one!"
Daniella Downs - "It's the TJFX remix for me, big ups to him!"
Luqas - "Ballsy, all mixes will work on the floors!"
Jaden - "Solid Electro club bangers. Diggin the TJFX remix"!

Free Tune and Free Mix - Karton "All You Need" and Karton August Promo Mix

Well to say the Karton boys are on fire may well just be an understatement! They are taking the Breakbeat industry by storm knocking tunes out of the park with every swinging beat. Their previous freebie they gave out called "Phoenix" is a beautiful track and I've found myself dropping it in a quite a few of my sets. Karton also recently did a remix of Lupo's "Surprise Me" for Kick It which came out smashing and they have included it in their August Promo Mix, which I had a chance to listen to the other day and it's one heck of an awesome mix. It features many of Karton's new tunes as well as some banging Drum & Bass and Dubstep. Ahead of Karton’s debut album "For All Seasons" coming out on Sound Of Habib in September, Karton present their 2nd single "All You Need". Karton being the lovely types they are, they are giving away the original track for free and we've got it here for you on the Kick It Blog along with a chilling video for the single. Powerful vocals from Nick Craven and entrancing synths blend with perfected drums and the bassline is gritty and driving but not overpowering. Karton have a musical edge that's hard to find in Electronic music and it's just fantastic. These guys are heading straight to the top and at full speed non-the-less! Called to duty on remix business we have Mesmer, Mars and Angry Pony. Mesmer cranks up the bass and pushes up the energy taking "All You Need" from the Indie Rock edge to peak time dancefloor smasher. Mars has been bringing the Dubstep heat as of late and he's back again with another growler. Serious wobble business with a mean side. Last up is the Angry Pony mix. Apparently angry ponies are still quite friendly because this mix is certainly not the pissed of tune of the bunch. Smooth and calming is more the name of the game with this one complemented by a bouncy bassline and loads of pads and synths. Now that's all you need to know.

Free Tune - Kiwa Vs Pink Floyd "Another Brick in The Wall Part 2" Kiwa Remix

Alrighty, so this one has been floating around for a minute but I thought I'd post it up in case you guys missed out on it. Pink Floyd is by far my all time favorite band and I have a serious collection of their work including the boxed set and 3 movies. There music is just flat-out amazing and no one else is ever going to be able to surpass them for me I don't believe! That being said, when someone lays down some slick EDM beats to some Floyd, I'm usually all over it. As is the case with Kiwa's remix of "Another Brick in The Wall Part 2". Kiwa are from Finland and they have been doing there thing since 1995. Originally they started out as a psychedelic Trance project and they have incorporated many styles of dance music into their sound over the years but in 2009 they decided to focus on Breaks. The Kiwa boys have three full length albums out to date as well as releases on High Grade, Exogenic and Surreal Audio. I've dropped this one a few times in my live sets and during my radio shows on NSB Radio to the delight of many. I'm not the only one for an appetite for some reworked Pink Floyd! If you know your Floyd, you now this one right from the first guitar note. Kiwa lace up some chunky broken beats with a 4/4 feel to them. Two and half minutes in, they switch things up bringing a bit of Dubstep feel to the table for a brief moment and then picking it right back up and when everything drops back in, the energy is real nice. This one outta have some kids singing along for sure.

Free Tune - Yolanda Be Cool & DCup "We No Speak Americano" High Rankin's Bait Wobble Mix

I'm sure most of you are familiar with one form or another of this tune from Australian duo Yolanda Be Cool and DCup. Just released in February of this year it has been remixed by everyone and my mother! The song samples the 1956 song "Tu vuò fà l'americano" by Renato Carosone, written by Carosone and Nicola Salerno. The song became an international hit peaking charts all across the globe from places like Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. It peaked at number two in Belgium,, New Zealand and Spain. Also managing to chart within the top five in Australia, Italy and Norway. Just to name a few of the fellows who have had their hands on this one we've got Chew Fu, Nick Thayer, and Johnny Dangerously. This time around High Rankin is bringing the bassline business! The vocal stays basically untouched and then bam, woofer destroying bass rips through the speakers. As the comments on Soundcloud state, this one will melt some faces. Just three minutes long it's pretty much all meat and no fluff so don't go take a piss when you drop this tune! The video for the original rocks as well so I have gone ahead and posted that for you all as well, enjoy!

Free Tune - "Wild Funkenstein" Dj Zya Vs Deadmau5 Vs Cut La Roc

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!! Yes, that's right, we're wrapping up another week and what better way to do it than with another kickass free tune, I don't think there is one! Cut La Roc has been doing the wild thing with turntables ever since he was a wee little chap. Originally Lee started cutting and scratching with Hip-Hop becoming an expert battle champion. Then when Acid House began to emerge back in the late 80's, he started Djing at clubs and was easily able to stand out with his quick hands and fader magic. In 1998 he released the well known "Punk Progression", deemed "What the Beatles would have sounded like if they'd invented jungle" by the New Musical Express. He was also a pioneer of Big Beat alongside names like Midfield General, Bentley Rhythm Ace and Fatboy Slim! Since then Cut La Roc has gone on to accomplish some major things like earning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records by setting the world record for Djing with nine tables and having appeared on Top of the Pops. Lee has an immense discography dating back to 1996 and he shows no signs of stopping with his third full length album due out this year. He travels all over the globe bringing his superior mixing and cutting skills with him wherever he goes. Delighting fans with a mix of House, Breaks, Hip-Hop and Turntablism, Cut La Roc is always a crowd pleaser anywhere he ends up.
Today's tuna blends all of Lee's influences taking cues from House, Hip-Hop, and Acid. Lee deftly combines Tone Loc's "Wild Thing", Deadmau5's "Dr. Funkenstein" the Dj Zya Remix and works it all together with Cut La Roc expertise. Funky and grooving the Tone Loc vocals give a taste of the old school to this Nu Skool tune. The breaks are nestled somewhere in-between Hip-Hop, Breakbeats, and Rock with a chunky Electro House kick to back it up. Acid lines twist and turn, filtering in and out throughout the track. The final breakdown stretches things out nice and long while incorporating a bit of a Trancey feel before some serious bit destruction quickly warps things into outer space.

Free Tune - EXCLUSIVE Original - Btz of Sneaker & The Dryer "I'm Expression"

Well I wanted to give you all a Hump day present yesterday but apparently someone left the roof open over at Soundcloud HQ and it rained all over their servers, or something like that. So non-the-less, we have an Exclusive original for you all today, courtesy of me, myself, and I. Funny story about this one, originally I was going to do a remix of "All Falls Down" by Kanye because I like the Lauryn Hill vocals in it but this is where I ended up going with the tune. Really the only things I kept from the original are pieces of the drums and some little vocal snips. It's kind of a cross between Electro House and Breaks which are my two favorite genres at the moment. Of course it's got some Hip Hop flavor worked in there as well and I also sampled a classic speach about young people and subculture. Being a big fan of the funk, "I'm Expression" has got a healthy dose of that mixed in as well. Keep your eyes open for more forthcoming material from Sneaker & The Dryer including a remix soon out on Held 2 Ransom and a forthcoming EP on Kick It Recordings.

Free Tune - Dogtown Clash Ft. MC SirReal "Frequency 2010"

We love bringing you quality, free tunes here at the blog and we're back at it again today. Switching gears we're gonna slow things down a bit and go with a feel good summertime track. Dogtown Clash is another side project from Barry Ashworth, the man who is responsible for the Dub Pistols and countless kickass tunes. The Dub Pistols have had 4 albums alone. The other member is Bill Borez who has been a member of the Dub Pistols and the Drum Monkeys himself, amongst other things. Together the two are making more fantastic tunes and "Frequency 2010" featuring MC SirReal is no exception. The drums have a natural and human feel to them, the background vox are soothing, and the bass is funky. SirReal lays down slick and smooth vocals that meld nicely with the rest of the track. A little bit of acid mixed with the bassline helps wind things down. This is proper festival business and I have a few gigs coming up that this will be perfect for. Top stuff!

Free Tune - EXCLUSIVE - Quadrat Beat "TRICK" Farace Remix (J2K Re-rub)

Monday is here again and I hope the sun is shining wherever you are! The tunes have been non-stop as of late and I don't see any signs of things slowing. We just had an Exclusive for ya on Friday with the Farace edit and we've got another one for you today and I know I've got at least one more lined up this week. Not to mention the nutty one from Mr. No Hands yesterday, so needless to say, things are good for the readers of the Kick It Blog! Today's Re-rub is coming at you from one of the long time members of Kick It, J2k. Quadrat Beat is one of the hottest names in Nu Skool Breaks right now with their name always at the top of the charts. These guys are putting out some serious dancefloor pounding music and with Farace on the remix you know it's gonna be gold. J2k really does a nice job of adding some variations and change-ups to the original. Pretty much everything has been redone in some way with edits on the drums, synths, bass and more. He retains the big time feel of the tune while adding his own style. Top work from J2K.
