The Psy Breaks Boys known as Monk3ylogic are back at it bringing us their "Bass Effex" EP. Due out in stores on April 12th "Bass Effex" is packed with four wicked versions all banging in their own right starting off with the original. Monk3ylogic have been hard at work in the studio and have been quickly making a name for themselves with their smooth production and slick styling. With recent releases on Broken Robot and Kick It Recordings, this time around they bring their signature sound to Liquid Records with "Bass Effex" which sets us up with an epic slice of Monk3logic's unique and distinct Electro-Psy sound. Big time bass mixes with Nu Skool and Old School flavor for a heads down driver that will pound your speakers. First up on the remix action is Mike Method who maintains the Psy-edge of the original pairing it with a slick groove and trancey leads. Numero tres is coming at us from Eastmann who rips "Bass Effex" a new one with his massive Electro sound cranking up the energy and turning up the glitchiness to the maximum. Rounding out the package is the one known as Hedflux. Pioneer of the Psy-Breaks sound, this one is right up his alley and he knocks it out of the park with a massive bassline and techy approach, another classic Hedflux stormer. Be on the lookout for this one everywhere you buy your music in just a couple weeks time and check out lots more good stuff from Monk3ylogic by following the links below.
