Kick It Recordings are back at it again with our first release of 2011. Stepping up and delivering the Electro House goods for KIR246 is Marcus Gauntlett with "Rockstar".
With his career already spanning a decade and having Dj'ed from Asia to the US and back home again at venues like Ministry of Sound, Hed, Pacha and God's Kitchen, Marcus Gauntlett is continuing to make his mark on the EDM Industry. As a producer, Marcus has already released over fifty singles and remixes which include a UK Top 40. He has received support from the industry's finest Djs and gained airplay on all major radio stations including Radio One and Kiss FM. This time he returns to Kick It with another dancefloor smasher. "Rockstar" starts things off with chunky kicks, grungy pads and a healthy dose of zaps and bleeps. Wicked melodies and leads filter in as the first breakdown approaches, quickly leaving you on the raw guitar riffs. Banging Electro beats and glitchy synths are sure to get the heads moving as are the killer changeups and the healthy dose of broken beat mixed in for good measure. Kick It front man Farace is never one to disappoint on a remix and he comes through again churning out a massive festival style Breaks rendition that focuses on the melody while maintaining the pushing Rock vibe. Head on over to wherever you get your digital music and pick it up for yourself!
